So to the prognosis. She took a strep test and apparently it came back negative. What did she say the cause of my pain was? Allergies. ALLERGIES. I have never had allergies in my entire life and none of my symptoms match up. Lmfao. So whatever. I paid my $30 copay for nothing.
Have waited 3 hours to get ten minutes of actual time with the doctor just for her to not help at all and hurried to go home. Do NOT go here, they literally don't care at ALL about their patients.
My father had an accident falling ten feet onto concrete onto his head. The abulance was quick to respond and they got him into a CT scan quickly. He was extremely lucky and had no neck or skull fractures or brain bleeds but was still really dazed and confused. They said that they were admitting him for observation. Then they left him in the ER for 3 hours without any direction on a stool with no back. They left him long enough that his mind seemed to be straightening out so my Dad decided to just go home so he could be more comfortable. He checked out with the ER staff against their recommendation. He was discharged with an IV still in his arm, no instructions for a follow up or treatment, and no sling for a broken collarbone that they did successfully diagnose. All around it was a ton of inattention for a seemingly not very busy ER.
I'm a type 1 diabetic, who is insulin dependent. They decided to call me today and tell me that they would give me a 30 day supply of insulin, but wouldn't give me anymore after that and wouldn't see me anymore. So, while working almost full time and not having the time to find another doctor, I've been given now less than 30 days to find a new doctor, and hope I can get in before I run out of insulin. Thanks graham medical.
I have ALWAYS been treated with respect and kindness at every visit to Graham Medical Group.
I should have listened to all of the reviews and comments on how Graham is the worst possible place to go. But I figured I'd save some gas and time and skip going to Peoria when I could just go here. Well, never again.
At roughly 6:30pm on 06/04/17 (yep, the SAME day) I decided to look in the mirror at the back of my incredibly sore throat because no amount of Tylenol and warm tea was helping. You know what I see? Massive white pockets everywhere.
Had an appointment on 06/04/17 at 1pm for a high fever, migraine, extremely sore throat (not being able to swallow), ear ache, and hypersensitive skin. The beginnings of strep, this isn't my first time around as I just had it this past winter. First of all, I'd like to comment on the rude staff. The nurse AND doctor insisted on prying about my stretched ears and giving me dirty looks. At one point she literally asked me "well what are you gonna do when you're 65-70 years old?". What kind of a question is that? It's called not your business. Also, while in the room waiting for the "doctor" (whose name is Nancy I believe, but don't bet me on it), I could hear the women out in the nurse' station commenting "did you see them? They're huge, idk why people do that, they have to be different I guess".
